IBM FS900 스토리지 Battery Reconditioning 작업

▶ IBM FS900 스토리지의 대시보드 상에서 왼쪽 두 개의 모듈이 BDU가 2개 장착되어 있고 100%의 재생이 완료가 되면 자동으로 Reconditioning 작업을 스스로 해줘야 하는데 설정이 되어 있지 않아 이벤트 경고가 발생하는 경우가 발생합니다.

▶ CLI Mode에서 IBM FlashSystem 900 스토리지 장비에 접속을 합니다.

▶ 1번 enclosure에서 percent_charged가 100이고 recondition이 no로 설정되어 있는 상태를 확인할 수 있습니다. 해당 스토리지는 배터리 상태를 모니터링하고 필요할 때 자동으로 재생 프로세스를 시작할 수 있게 설정할 수 있습니다.

▶ enclosure의 설정 값을 확인하게 되면 battery_auto_reconditioning 부분이 off로 설정 되어 있는 것을 확인할 수 있습니다. 즉 자동으로 재생 프로세스를 시작할 수 없음을 의미합니다.

▶ battery_auto_reconditioning 설정을 on으로 변경합니다.

▶ battery_auto_reconditioning on으로 설정 변경이 되었고 배터리의 재생 수명 프로세스를 자동으로 수행하게 됩니다.

▶ enclosure에서 확인했듯이 ID:1번 BSU의 배터리 모듈이 재생 중인 상태로 변경된 것으로 확인되었습니다. 재생되는 시간은 약 4시간 정도 소요가 됩니다.
